Hard Road Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for our upcoming spring production, the Pulitzer Prize winning play, OUR TOWN. Thornton Wilder’s OUR TOWN is the most performed play in American theatre. It tells the story of the fictional American small town of Grover’s Corners between the years of 1901 and 1913. The show has over twenty different roles and offers some wonderful opportunities for men and women, young and old, theatre veterans and newcomers. There are several roles specifically for juveniles (ages 11-17). Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 12th & Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Highland Elementary Auditorium, 1800 Lindenthal Ave., Highland, IL. Those auditioning should be prepared to perform readings from the script (located here) and perform a pantomime of an everyday activity. In addition, those auditioning should be aware of any conflicts they have between January 15th – April 24th, 2017. Audition forms can also be found here.
