The excitement usually associated with cast announcements is lost with this one since we’ve already posted the lists on Facebook. But let’s pretend this is new to you . . .
Hang on, folks, HERE ARE THE CAST LISTS! (Excited?)
Winnie the Pooh Cast List
Into the Woods Cast List
We made every attempt to accommodate all casting requests, and in most cases were able to do so. If not, we apologize.
If, after reviewing the cast list, you find that you are unable to accept the role, please contact the director so that we might adjust the casting accordingly. And in case you forgot, Paul Kruta (pkruta@gmail.com) is directing Into the Woods,Jr and Gentry Nessel (gentrynessel@gmail.com) is directing Winnie the Pooh,Kids.
Your next question should be “When is the first rehearsal and when can I get my script?” Technically that’s two questions but the answer to both is the same.
- Winnie the Pooh will have a read-thru this Thursday, May 10th at 5:30 in the Auditorium. The rehearsal should last no more than one hour.
- Into the Woods will have a read-thru this Wednesday, May 9th at 5:30 in the Auditorium. This rehearsal should last until 7:00.
In addition to handing our scripts and reading through the play, we will try and review all aspects of the rehearsal process: rehearsal times, schedule changes, parental assistance, and so on. So we would ask that each cast member have one (or more) parent or guardian with them.
And that’s it! We’ll see you at the read-thru at which time we can answer any and all of your questions (hopefully!)

Auditions for All Shook Up are scheduled for 6:30 on Wednesday, May 23rd at the Highland Elementary Auditorium (Lindenthal Avenue in Highland). Callbacks will be at 7:00 on the following evening, May 24th.
Unlike your typical auditions, you are asked to prepare a song FROM All Shook Up. Please select one of the songs that are appropriate for your voice and rehearse your part. The reasoning behind this is simple…the music is not standard Broadway style. Therefore, singing “Memory” from Cats tells us nothing on how well you can sing “Hound Dog”. Get it? And in case you were wondering, an accompanist will be at auditions so you won’t have to sing a cappella.
Here’s the music from which you can choose:
A cold read of the script will also be required during the audition. You will be asked to learn and then perform a short dance routine, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes and clothes.
The cast is made up of actors of ALL AGES. Teen through Senior Citizen ….WE WANT YOU!
On to the fun stuff…..Characters!!!
